Nevzat Kocasaraç, Deputy Chairman of Divan Research and Education Association, met with Zahit Oruç, President of Azerbaijan Social Research Center, in Baku. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the two think tanks.
Deputy Chairman Mr. Kocasaraç informed people about various activities which are organized by Divan Research and Education Association. During the meeting, the importance of association attaches to human rights and the formation and shaping of human resources was underlined. Kocasaraç stressed that importance of think tanks and benefits of increasing collaborations.
Mr. Oruç also gave information about the activities of his institution. Oruç informed people about the activities organized and the research conducted and stated that in this period when relations between the two states are at the highest level, joint work between the two institutions can lead to many important opportunities. It was stated that meetings have been held with various think tanks in Türkiye and cooperation issues have been discussed so far.
Oruç also touched upon Azerbaijan’s victory in the 2nd Karabakh War and underlined that cooperation and joint efforts are very significant in preserving this victory. Mr. Oruç also emphasized the importance of integrating Turkish world’s ideas and research into Turkish media, and establishing an original thinking system in this regard.
