At the UN Talks, a session titled “Impacts of Climate Change in Azerbaijan”

The Impact of Climate Change on Azerbaijan’s Climate, Nature and Ecosystems” was organized. Serdar Yavuz, who was the speaker at the talk, touched upon the existing ecological diversity of Azerbaijan in general, the destroyed nature in the Karabakh region, which can be considered new, and the threats that the climate crisis may pose in Azerbaijan. In addition, assessments were made on the material damage of the climate crisis through graphs and tables in line with the reports received from Azerbaijan’s relevant ministries and international organizations. The measures taken by Azerbaijan against these threats and dangers, the policies pursued by Azerbaijan and the expected change in response were also among the topics of the speech. Finally, the program was concluded with a final topic on possible scenarios in nature and ecosystem until the half of the current century.
